**1. Do you need PowerX First? No.**
General use is available with no membership fee at all — you only pay for the electricity you use. PowerX First is an optional paid plan (¥1,050/month, or ¥10,800/year ≈ ¥900/month) that mainly gives a lower per‑kWh price and better booking options. (/sources/en/reference/membership.md)
