I'm sorry you made the trip and couldn't charge despite having a reservation. Here's what applies in this situation.
What to do on the spot
- If the vehicle parked in the spot isn't moved promptly, please use another charging station. This is the official Help Center guidance for a reserved spot occupied by another car. (/sources/ja/public-help/articles/23459505379993.md:22)
- Speak to a store/dealer employee on site. Staff at the facility are the ones who can actually ask the owner to move the vehicle; PowerX support cannot force a third-party vehicle to be moved. (/sources/ja/runbooks/stations.md:27)
- If you have to give up and cancel because a non-charging vehicle is blocking the spot, contact support: the reservation can be deleted so that no cancellation fee is charged. Please don't just accept the cancellation-fee prompt without checking with support first. (/sources/ja/runbooks/stations.md:27)
About the time extension you asked for
- At present, reservation slots cannot be extended, and no penalty is applied to you in this situation. There is no mechanism to add charging time to compensate for time lost while a vehicle was being moved. (/sources/ja/runbooks/stations.md:278)
- This point is time-sensitive and may change, so it's worth re-checking the current Help Center wording if an extension really matters to you.
Reporting for recurrence prevention / abandoned vehicles
- Please report it through the inquiry form with a photo of the parking situation. That is the channel used to escalate to the responsible department and to the dealer operating the site. (/sources/ja/public-help/articles/23459505379993.md:23, /sources/ja/runbooks/stations.md:278)
- To make the report actionable, include: station name, date and reserved time slot, charger/dispenser number, the vehicle type or plate if visible, how long you waited, and whether it coincided with a facility event. Event-related repeat blockage is specifically what the dealer needs to adjust signage or space allocation.
- Suggestions such as cone installation and other parking countermeasures are forwarded to the responsible department; at sites that already have colour cones, users are asked to move the cone aside when charging and return it afterwards. (/sources/ja/runbooks/stations.md:27, /sources/ja/public-help/articles/54089716051481.md:22)
One note on what I can do here: I can explain the steps and tell you what to submit, but I can't delete a reservation, waive a fee, extend a slot, or contact the store or dealer on your own behalf without the relevant team actually doing it. If a charge appeared on your card even though you did not charge, mention that in the same report so the billing can be reviewed.
