- **Membership fee (what you paid):** The Annual Plan is 10,800 yen, billed once at enrollment and again at renewal — this is the flat fee for belonging to PowerX First (/sources/en/reference/membership.md:131).
- **Charging fee (what you're seeing on usage dates):** Every time you charge, a separate usage fee applies based on the amount of electricity delivered. As a First member, you pay the discounted rate of **from ¥45/kWh** (compared to ¥65~ for regular users), and this is charged in addition to the membership fee each time you charge (/sources/en/runbooks/membership.md:278–282).

So on each date you use a station, you'll see a charge for the kWh you consumed at the First-member rate. What your annual fee gets you is:

- The discounted per-kWh rate (¥45~ vs. ¥65~)
- Reservations up to 3 days in advance (vs. 30 minutes ahead for regular users)
- Timeslots up to 75 minutes (vs. 30 minutes)
- Up to 150 kW ultrafast charging at eligible stations

In other words, the annual plan is a membership discount program, not an all-inclusive charging pass — the usage fees you're seeing are the per-kWh charging costs at your member rate, billed separately from the 10,800 yen membership fee.

The 10,800 yen is the PowerX First **membership fee** (annual plan), not a charging allowance — so the two charges are separate things and both are expected.

What each charge is:

- Membership fee: ¥10,800 (tax incl., ≈¥900/month) billed once a year on your enrollment anniversary date, auto-renewed to your registered card. This buys the member benefits (discounted kWh price, reservations up to 3 days ahead, up to 75-minute slots, no cancellation fee).
- Charging fee: billed separately, pay-as-you-go per kWh, every time you charge. For First members the guide rates are from ¥45/kWh (Economy), ¥50 (Regular), ¥55 (Premium) — i.e. ¥20/kWh off the general ¥65/70/75. Each session is charged to your card, and the date it appears depends on your card company.

So the amounts on your later usage dates are the per-session charging fees, not a second membership charge. Note also that the membership fee itself does not show up in the app's usage history — only charging sessions do.

Two things worth verifying on your side:

1. That member pricing was actually applied: check the per-kWh unit price on those sessions. If it shows the general rate (¥65–75/kWh) rather than the First rate (¥45–55/kWh), that needs to be checked. Plan changes only take effect once the current term ends (stop auto-renewal, then re-select the plan after expiry), so sessions billed around a switch date can be worth reviewing.
2. Your active plan: Account > PowerX First > payment plan confirmation.
