Prompt (en)

Charging stopped due to a vehicle-side error. About 3 minutes remain. Can I press the emergency-stop button and remove the connector? Vehicle is an Ariya.

Expected (en)

Yes; if charging has stopped, you may press the red emergency-stop button. Once charging stops and the connector releases, turn the red button gently to the right to return it to its original position so the next customer can use it.

Output

Yes — since charging has already stopped due to the vehicle-side error, you can press the red emergency-stop button to end the session and remove the connector. This applies to your Ariya as well.

After the connector releases, please do one more thing: turn the red button gently to the right to return it to its original position. This resets the charger so the next customer can use it (if left pressed, the charger will show an emergency-stop error and won't charge).

Output

Yes — since charging has already stopped, you can press the red emergency-stop button on the charger to release the connector.

Steps:
1. Press the red emergency-stop button; wait for the LED to go out / charging to fully stop, then pull the connector out.
2. After the connector is out, turn the red button gently to the right so it pops back to its original position — this resets the charger so the next customer can use it.
3. If the connector feels stuck, press the release button on the handle while wiggling it gently side to side and pulling.

If it still won't release after that, or the charger keeps showing an error, let us know the station and charger number and we'll investigate.

Output
