I'm sorry that happened — a snapped cable is a safety hazard, so please stop charging right away and don't keep using that charger. **Do this now:** 1. **Stop the charging session immediately.** Press the red emergency-stop button on the charger body. This cuts the charging power (the LED will go off). Don't touch the snapped section of cable or any exposed wires — keep children, pets, and other people clear of the area. 2. **Remove the connector only if it's safe to do so.** Once the LED is off, press the release button and pull the connector straight out of the vehicle. If the connector or cord is damaged in a way that makes it unsafe to handle, don't force it — just stay clear of it. 3. **Reset the emergency stop for the next customer.** After the connector is out, turn the red button gently to the right so it returns to its original (white) position — but only if the charger itself is undamaged. Given the cable is broken, the unit should stay out of service. 4. **If you see smoke, sparks, a burning smell, or feel any tingling/shock, move away immediately** and call emergency services. Don't attempt to handle the equipment in that case. **Then report it to us** so the charger can be inspected and taken out of service. Please include: - Station name and charger number (left/right side) - Date and time it happened - What you saw (wire snapped, cord/connector fell) - Photos if you can take them safely - Your reservation/charging session details, so we can check the billing for that session You can reach us through the PowerX support contact form, or let on-site staff know right away if the station is attended. Please don't try to repair, tape, or reuse the damaged cable, and use a different charger or station for the rest of your charge. For reference: our guidance is to stop using the charger and prioritize immediate site safety whenever a cable is damaged (see /sources/en/policies/assistant-operational-boundaries.md:28), and the emergency-stop procedure above follows the documented steps (see /sources/en/runbooks/charging-troubleshooting.md:120 and :152).

** 安全のため、破損のあるケーブルでの充電は避けていただくよう公式ヘルプでご案内しています(/sources/ja/public-help/articles/23462431852825.md:18)。 2. ** 内容を確認のうえ、対応方法を折り返しご連絡いたします(/sources/ja/runbooks/stations.md:81)。 垂れ下がったままだと、さらなる摩耗や損傷、次のご利用のお客様が躓く恐れがあります(/sources/ja/public-help/articles/39391076082329.md:20-22)。

Please stop using that charger — even though charging is still working, a snapped cable wire is a safety hazard. What to do now 1. End the session and stop charging. Official PowerX guidance for a damaged cable is to refrain from using it for safety reasons and to use a different charger instead. If you can't stop charging from the app, just unplug the connector once it has released (don't force it), and avoid touching any exposed or frayed wiring, especially with wet hands. 2. Keep the area safe. A cord hanging on the ground can be run over by tires or trip the next user, so if you can do so without touching the damaged part, move it clear of the driving path and warn nearby users. 3. Report it with photos. Send photos that clearly show the condition of the cable (the snapped wire and where the cord to the connector has come loose) through the contact form in the PowerX app. The report is reviewed and you'll be contacted with how to proceed. 4. Include these details in the report so it can be handled in one pass: station name, charger/number of the affected unit, date and time, the connector type, whether the cable still energizes/charges, and any error shown in the app or on the unit. Please note I can't submit the report, stop the charger remotely, or notify the station operator from here — the in-app contact form is the route that reaches the team who can inspect and take the unit out of service. If you see smoke, smell burning, hear arcing/crackling, or someone has received a shock, leave the area immediately and call emergency services first, then report it afterwards. 公式にも「安全のため使用はお控えいただき、他の充電器をご利用ください」と案内しています(/sources/ja/public-help/articles/23462431852825.md:20)。 4. 内容を確認のうえ、対応方法を折り返しご連絡いたします(/sources/ja/runbooks/stations.md:81、/sources/ja/public-help/articles/23462431852825.md:22)。 確認のうえ返金含めて対応いたします(/sources/ja/runbooks/charging-troubleshooting.md:136)。
